Parents of Children in Reception
To ensure a healthy start to your child’s school life the school nursing team would like all parents/carers to complete a health questionnaire. The team are able to provide support and advice to ensure any health issues do not impact on your child’s development or learning.
In England as part of the National Child measurement programme (NCMP) all children in Reception are offered a growth measurement and vision and hearing screening.

YOUR CHILD WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SCREENING PROGRAMME UNLESS YOU ADVISE US OTHERWISE
Parents of Children in YEAR 6
All children, in England, in year six are offered a growth measurement as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). The school nursing team are due to visit your child’s school to carry out this growth measurement in two weeks’ time. The team also provide support and advice to ensure that any health issues do not impact on your child’s development or learning so parent / Carers are asked to complete a short health questionnaire. Please note if you do not wish for your child to be measured you must ensure that you click on the link above to opt out or contact the school nursing team on (01706 671 910) opt 3 to discuss your wishes So that we can update your Child’s record. Your child will be included in the screening programme unless you advise us otherwise.
