Rochdale’s Children’s Services are running a community project and need our help!

Dear Parents/Carers

Rochdale’s Children’s Services are running a community project and need our help!

As a result of all the beautiful artwork children have done in support of the NHS and other keyworkers, they are asking young people to draw some images to share some of the stay home messages and also some supportive messages to go in with the food parcels they deliver to shielded residents, some of whom won’t be getting a lot of contact with people and these drawings could really cheer them up during a difficult time.  Some of the messages could be;

  •  Thank you for helping save lives and protect the NHS by staying at home
  • We know isolation is tough, we’re here for you, thinking about you and doing our bit to make sure we save lives and protect the NHS
  • There are lots of people from the council, police and NHS, as well as community volunteers, here to help and support you. If you need help and support contact 01706 923685.
  •  Social distancing is so important – stay 2m or more away from others when you go out for essential supplies or exercise

Or of course, you are more than welcome to come up with your own messages to those in isolation!

Please send pictures of the artwork to earlyhelp@stansfieldhall.rochdale.sch.uk by Tuesday 21st April so we can return to the Local Authority.

Thankyou for your support in this uncertain time and please remember to contact school on 01706 378273 if you need any advice or support.
