Parental Letter – 3rd April 2020

Dear Parents / Carers

At the end of another strange week, I just wanted to keep in touch with everyone.

School remains closed although open for critical worker’s children across the “Easter Holidays” (Except the Bank Holidays when we will be closed). A reminder that children coming into school during the Easter Holiday should bring their own packed lunch as meals will be provided in school.

Information for Free School Meal Children (based on benefit entitlement) has been posted on our Website about continuing to collect a “grab bag” from school or how to apply for the supermarket vouchers.

After Easter, we will continue to phone every family at least once a week, we may even manage to check in with a few of you over the next two weeks as well. These calls are merely to check in and see how you are and to keep in touch. We are not checking up on whether the children have completed work or not, as I said in the letter last week, these are unprecedented times and all families will be doing what they can to manage these new temporary arrangements. Keep up the amazing work you are all doing.

Storytime Magazine. We have taken advantage of a special offer and purchased a monthly subscription for every family to receive a StorytimeMagazinethrough the door once a month. Please encourage your children to read them or share them with your children and enjoy them during this period of ‘lockdown’ when they arrive.
