The core subjects of English, Maths and Science are taught in school along with the National Curriculum subjects of History, Geography, Computing, Art, Design Technology, Music, PE, PSHCE and RE.

Staff carefully plan interesting lessons enabling all pupils to effectively take part, utilising ICT and the whole school environment, whilst monitoring progress throughout the year.

We plan and deliver whole-school projects differentiated as appropriate to the age of our pupils.

Details of our projects can be found on the menu above.

At Stansfield Hall we follow ‘Read, Write Inc’ phonics programme. Home/school reading books are from Oxford Reading Tree supplemented with a range of books from class and school library.

In Guided Reading pupils use the ‘Project X’ scheme.

Each half-term we celebrate good behaviour and progress with ‘Golden Book Draw’ with winners receiving a book of their choice to take home and keep.

By using the drop down navigation menu on Curriculum you can view PDF files of what each year group is learning.
