The Headteacher and Governors of Stansfield Hall Church of England / Free Church Primary School are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), to join our school.

We are looking to appoint a HLTA initially to work across school to deliver split year-group maths teaching and PPA cover. The ideal person will have a good knowledge of the National Curriculum, group interventions and should have knowledge of assessment in primary education.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • Have their HLTA qualification
  • Have an understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Have experience of working with children
  • Be a strong team player
  • Be able to use their initiative and be resourceful
