Sports Premium 2015 – 2016

The government is providing additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. The funding must be used to fund improvements to the provision of PE and sport for all pupils. This is aimed at encouraging pupils to develop healthy lifestyles. At Stansfield Hall we already offer a varied PE curriculum and we have taken this as an opportunity to enrich the activities in which the pupils participate. In addition to our PE curriculum we have employed specialists to deliver specific activities. The funding will also support the cost implications for participating in adventurous trips, developing the sports provision in school and as part of our swimming curriculum.
