School Newsletter – Friday 17th November 2017

Dear Parents,

It was lovely to see so many parents in school last night, if you were not able to meet your child’s teacher please try to arrange a mutually convenient time to catch up with them over the next two weeks.

The children and staff looked fantastic today as they dressed up as part of our “Pharaohs and Pyramids” project, well done everyone on a super effort.

Thank you to everyone who sent in loose change to help cover Pudsey’s Spots and to our school council who led the Children In Need Assembly this morning.

Reminder Homework Projects are due in on Wednesday 22nd November.

Please ensure your child is in school early at 8.40am on Tuesday 21st for the whole school trip to the Odeon Cinema to see the film SING as part of the Into Film Festival.

Tonight we have sent home two leaflets advertising our OPEN DAY on Tuesday 28th November when we invite parents and members of the local community to come into school for a look around. Please keep one of these for yourself and pass on the other one to friends, family or neighbours who may be interested to see our school “at work”. Should you require further copies please ask at the school office.

A reminder that on Wednesday 22nd pupils from Reception class up to year 5 will be given the nasal flu vaccination in school. Please send the consent form back into school if your child is eligible for the vaccination.

Thank you

Mr. R. Walthall
