School Newsletter – Friday 14th October 2016

Dear Parents

Thank you to everyone who came to visit our school on Open Day, the children are very proud of their school and the Prefects / School Council did an excellent job as tour guides.

This morning Year 6 had an informative morning out at Crucial Crew.

Next week we are welcoming parents and friends into school again twice:

  • On Tuesday, 18th October for our Science Fair between 9am and 11am to see the children’s projects.
  • On Wednesday, 19th October at 2pm for our school Harvest Assembly, From Monday, please send in donations of packets or tins of food for us to donate to the Petrus Charity in Rochdale.

Next week the children will also be attending St. James’ Church, Calderbrook for a service with Father Ian.

Netball club finished today for the winter and will start again in Spring when it isn’t too dark and cold after school.

School closes on Friday, 21st October for half term and reopens on Monday, 31st October.  Remember the Halloween Disco is on Friday, 4th November at 6.30pm.

Thank you

Mr. R. Walthall
