School Newsletter – Friday 6th February 2016

Dear Parents / Carers,

The full governing body met last night and welcomed our new parent governors to the meeting.

The children have been working on “We’re all different – Get over it!” as part of our work in LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender) History Month.  As part of our work as a Stonewall Schools Champion we will be continuing to look at acceptance, celebrating diversity and difference in the world and how this continues to improve.  We are very proud of our children’s maturity in recognising and celebrating their own differences in their families, cultures and physical appearance as well as the differences of those around them.

Please can we remind parents of children who are going on the Kingswood residential that payments are due by Friday 11th March.

On Tuesday 9th February it is Safer Internet Day and the children will be thinking of ways to keep themselves safe while using the internet, we will be asking parents to follow up this work with the children over half term.

Safer Internet Day

Parents evening this term takes place after the half term holiday on Thursday 3rd March starting at 5.30pm

Thank you

Mr. R Walthall

Headteacher
